Spa Policies
No Children Policy: At Thalassa Beauty Spa, we strive to provide a peaceful, serene, and relaxing environment for all of our guests. To maintain this atmosphere, we have implemented a No Children Policy.
1. No children under 10: Children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the spa, including treatment areas, quiet room, and lobby.
2. Adult Supervision: Guests who wish to bring children ( above the age of 10, if applicable) must ensure that children are accompanied by an adult at all times.
3. Special Accommodations: We understand that some families may require special accommodations. Please contact us in advanced to discuss any specific needs or requests, and we will do our best to assist.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a tranquil environment for all our guests.
Services for Minors: We allow some services for minors including: facials, some waxing, manicures and pedicures.
1. Minor must be 10 years old or older.
2. Minors 10-15 require parent/guardian supervision.
3. Minors 16-17 require parent/guardian permission.
4. We do not offer any massage services for any guests under the age of 18.
Gift Certificate Policy: All gift certificate sales shall be considered final. We will only offer refunds under certain circumstances, and the refund will go back to the original purchaser. To use a gift certificate for a service or retail, you must have either the physical gift certificate or the digital certificate with you.
Thalassa Beauty Spa is not responsible for keeping track of your gift certificates. If gift certificates are lost, they are considered null and void.
If you have a Bella Mer gift certificate, we will honor that as long as you have the gift certificate code available and it was purchased after Dec 31. 2021.
Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy: We value your time and strive to provide the best possible service to all of our guests. To ensure that we can continue to offer exceptional experiences, we kindly ask that you respect our cancellation policy outlined below.
Cancellation Notice Requirements:
1. Single Appointments: We require 12 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling individual appointments.
2. Couples, Group, or Multi-service Appointments: We require 36 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of couples, group, or multi-service bookings.
Late Cancellation and No-Show Fees:
1. Late Cancellation: If you cancel within the required notice period but less than 12 hours (for single appointments) or 36 hours (for couples, groups, or multi-service bookings) before your scheduled appointment, 50% of the service fee will be charged. (We may waive fees for emergencies, illness, etc. up to our discretion.)
No Show: If you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice, 100% of the service fee may be charged.
How to Cancel or Reschedule: To cancel or reschedule your appointment, either do so through our online booking app, or contact us via voice message or text. (Email cancellations are not permitted.)
We understand that unexpected circumstances arise, and we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy to allow us to best serve all of our guests.
Zero Tolerance Solicitation Policy: We are committed to providing a professional, respectful, and relaxing environment for all of our guests and staff members. To maintain the highest standards of service and ensure a safe atmosphere, we have a strict zero tolerance policy regarding the solicitation of our staff members.
Policy Guidelines:
1. No Solicitation: Guests are strictly prohibited from soliciting massage therapists or any spa staff for services outside of the professional scope offered by the spa. This includes, but is not limited to, requests for personal, off-site, or non-professional services.
2. Respectful Conduct: All interactions with our staff must remain professional and respectful at all times. Any behavior that makes our massage therapists or staff feel uncomfortable, harassed, or unsafe will not be tolerated.
3. Consequences for Violation: Any guest found violating this policy by soliciting a massage therapist or engaging in inappropriate conduct will be immediately asked to leave the premises. In cases of severe misconduct, the spa reserves the right to ban the guest from future visits and report the incident to the proper authorities if necessary.
